The objective:
With the Laboratory Workflow Scan Service, we enable the laboratories to get an insight into the current processes, to identify the bottlenecks, to identify the non- value added processes and thus waste in order to optimize the flow resulting in a improved patient care
The approach:
Day 1: Visit laboratory two hours before closing time in order to count the backlog and inform employees about the workflow observation process and what are expected from them
Day 2: Observation of the workflow and collecting the desired data from opening hours until closing hour of the laboratory
Day 3: Analyzing the collected data and preparing the presentation and report
Day4: Presenting Laboratory Workflow Scan results to management team and/or other employees of the laboratory
