The management- team of the Clinical Chemistry Laboratory of Jeroen Bosch Hospital, wants to realize a culture that all employees are capable to optimize the processes in order to improve the workflow.
“We have no culture that our colleagues have made their own, that waste should be detected and eliminated in processes”. Frans van de Laar, unit manager Clinical Chemistry Laboratory
The first two groups of employees with managerial functions are successfully trained by HP2Improve in Lean Yellow Belt in order to embed a Continuous Improvement Culture. The next groups, >100 employees will be trained on Lean Yellow Belt and/or Lean awareness in order to anchor the Lean philosophy.
The next step is to perform the Value Stream Mapping of the central reception in order to identify the bottlenecks and to eliminate the “hidden” waste in the current situation. We will post the progress of these activities in the coming weeks.
If you are interested in how to create and maintain a Continuous Improvement Culture in your organization, please contact HP2Improve.
